Can Approvers be removed from an Approval Flow?
Yes, however, it is required that the user editing an approval flow has Admin permissions. To remove an approver from the approval flows of a Request in “Pending Approval” status:
A. Own requests:
- Head over to the My Requests tab to view your previously submitted requests.
- You can use either List view or Kanban view by clicking on their icons on the top-right corner of the screen. Use filters and the search bar to narrow down your search:
- In Kanban view, locate the Request under the Under Construction or Pending Approval columns.
- In List view, according to your search terms and filters, matching results will show on top of the list.
- Click on the Request in question to open the Request Details view.
- On the Request Details view, click on the Edit Approval Flow ✏ icon next to Approvers.
- Click on the Trash Can icon to remove the approver.
- Click on Save.
B. Other user’s request:
- Go to the Reports tab.
- Head over to the Company Requests subtab.
- Use the search search terms and filters and matching results will show on top of the list.
- Click on the Request in question to open the Request Details view.
- On the Request Details view, click on the Edit Approval Flow ✏ icon next to Approvers.
- Click on the Trash Can icon to remove the approver.
- Click on Save.
